my first phone sex call post-election (look how sexy!)

I don't know if people still read this community but I just had to share this here too, in case you needed a dry laugh (and really, who doesn't?)

I just got a rather brief call from this very strange Floridian regular client who likes to play hypnosis games on the phone. He's very directive about what he wants but it has to have the illusion of his total submission - a combination that never fails to irritate me. (Although, admittedly, he's pretty easy to do - you just follow his directions. This is the same client that once paid for me to ignore him for 40 minutes.) Despite this, I wasn't happy to hear from him and couldn't pretend otherwise. The conversation went something like this:

Me: (not even attempting a sexy voice) Hello?
Client: Hi, it's (code word).
Me: Oh. What do you want?
Client: ....
Me: ....
Client: ....
Me: I can wait all day.
Client: Oh. .... I want to play a game.
Me: OK, what are the rules?
Client: ....
Me: How about, I get money out of you?
Client: Um. I want to play an alphabet game.
Me: *smirking* OK. How's it work?
Client: You go through the alphabet. At each letter, you say a word, repeatedly, to drill it into my head. (goes on a bit about how he wants to be conditione dto respond to these words, and that I ought to make him parrot them back at certain intervals, blah blah...)
Me: Ya want hypnosis with that or ya just want to get started?
Client: ....
Me: ....
Client: Let's just start.
Me: OK. A: Armageddon. .... Armageddon.
Client: ....
Me: B: Belligerent. .... Belligerent.
Client: *hangs up*

Too bad he hung up. I even had a good word all picked out for X: xenophobia!

2.5 years into this job, and I'm admittedly getting a little reckless.
